Top Kayak Rental Spots In Singapore
Some of the top kayak rental spots in Singapore include Marina Bay, Pulau Ubin, Kallang Basin, Bedok Reservoir, Pasir Ris Beach Park, MacRitchie, and Pandan Reservoir.
Kayak rental at MacRitchie Reservoir
This is basically the place I use to train at and it is extremely beautiful to paddle there early in the morning! There is the paddle lodge there where you can rent Kayak from $15 onwards from 9 am to 6 pm. It’s the best place to Kayak in my opinion!
Kayak rental at Pandan Reservoir
If you live in the West, Pandan Reservoir would be another beautiful reservoir to paddle in! Similar to MacRitchie, there is also a paddle lodge at Pandan Reservoir where you can rent a kayak. One unique thing about Pandan Reservoir is that there are also canoe polo training and classes taking place there so definitely go check it out!
Stadium/Kallang Kayaking
Kallang is undoubtedly one of the top kayak rental spots in Singapore in the central region. With its calm waters and iconic city skyline backdrop, it offers paddlers a unique experience to glide through the heart of this bustling metropolis.
You don’t need a license for kayaking there as it is perfect for both beginners and experienced paddlers. I highly recommend coming here to try out for beginners. It is hosted by the sports hub with prices ranging from $14 for adults and $10 for children.
Pulau Ubin Kayak Adventures
Pulau Ubin is a beautiful island located off the coast of Singapore and is known for its lush greenery, clear waters, and diverse wildlife. It’s also one of the only places to go for mangrove kayaking in Singapore! There are a few tours conducting kayaking in Pulau Ubin and price ranges
Renting a kayak on Pulau Ubin allows you to explore the mangroves that line the shores of the island, and see various bird species such as kingfishers, eagles, and herons up close.
You can also paddle through narrow channels that lead into secluded lagoons where you might spot otters playing or even catch sight of a shy sea turtle swimming nearby.
Bedok Reservoir and Pasir Ris Beach Park Kayak Rental Spots
Bedok Reservoir is yet another great kayaking spot in Singapore that offers stunning views of lush greenery and sparkling waters. As one of the largest reservoirs in Singapore, it boasts a range of water sports activities such as kayaking and dragon boating. Check out their water activities at PAssion WaVe
Early birds can take advantage of the Sunrise Kayaking option offered here, where you can watch the beautiful sunrise while paddling quietly on calm waters.
This experience is not only peaceful but also refreshing to start your day off right.
It’s also a great spot for wildlife spotting, as you can see several species of birds, monitor lizards, and turtles along your route.
